Our Story

How we started and where we're going

Community Awareness Through IT Education (CATITE) was founded in 2020 by a group of tech professionals who recognized the growing digital divide in underserved communities. What began as weekend workshops at a local community center has grown into a comprehensive educational initiative reaching thousands of individuals across 120+ communities.

Our founders believed that access to quality IT education shouldn't be limited by socioeconomic factors. With this vision, they developed curricula that focused not just on technical skills but also on practical applications that could create immediate positive impacts in students' lives.

Today, CATITE continues to expand its reach, developing new programs that adapt to the rapidly changing technology landscape while maintaining our core commitment to accessibility, quality education, and community empowerment.
