Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our programs
Many of our programs are offered at reduced rates or completely free of charge to eligible participants. We prioritize accessibility and offer scholarships, sliding scale fees, and payment plans. Our basic digital literacy courses are always free, while more advanced programs may have nominal fees to cover materials and instruction.
While having your own computer is beneficial for practicing outside of class, it is not required for in-person programs. Our facilities are equipped with computers for all participants to use during sessions. For online learning, we have a limited laptop loan program for qualified participants who need access to equipment.
Graduates receive a certificate of completion and access to our career support services, including resume development, interview preparation, and job placement assistance. We also offer continuing education opportunities and alumni networking events. Many graduates stay connected through our community and return as mentors or instructors.
Our Digital Literacy program is specifically designed for absolute beginners with no previous computer experience. We start with the basics and build gradually, ensuring that every student can learn at a comfortable pace. Additional support and one-on-one assistance are available for those who need extra help.
Time commitments vary by program. Our introductory courses typically meet 2-3 hours per week for 4-8 weeks. More intensive bootcamps may require 10-20 hours weekly for 8-12 weeks. We offer evening and weekend options to accommodate working individuals, and many of our online resources are available 24/7 for flexible, self-paced learning.
